Niche Welding is owned and operated by Hayden Menzies, bringing more than 20 years of experience across specialised fabrication, pressure welding and heavy industry. Beginning in sheet metal, TIG welding and stainless fabrication, Hayden progressed through Certificate IV and AS 1796 pressure-welding qualifications into the resources, energy and industrial sectors.
His background includes construction, shutdown and maintenance work across Worsley Alumina, Karratha Gas Plant, Muja Power Station and Barrow Island; nickel processing and refining; major pipe-spooling packages involving Chevron and INPEX; and PQR and welder-qualification testing with Lloyd’s Register and client representatives. Materials experience spans carbon and stainless steels, Duplex, Super Duplex, Titanium, Inconel and Copper Nickel.
